Subject:5.0f conflicts?

Hi there,

Just installed sound forge 5.0f. It will crash quite often during play and pause operations whilst processing wav files.

Does anyone know of any conflicts with other installed software?

It's possible, especially if there's anything running in the background, like antivirus software, instant messengers and other utilities. Always disable or close such programs before running SF 5.

What's your system's specs?

You might also want to try an uninstall and reinstall.

Nothing's running in the background, I always disable everything.

Try also updating video and sound card drivers if you haven't done so already. If that doesn't work consider uninstalling and reinstalling Sound Forge.

Also, if you downloaded the latest build, try downloading it again. Possible something got mucked up while it was downloaded.

Try reinstalling DirectX as well.
