Hello,

I am recording a narration in which I use different voices
that I set up from the Environmental Audio - Audio HQ.
-I choose the voice, record the passage, but when I switch to
"No Effect" to listen to what had been recorded,
I only get my original voice.

What am I doing wrong?

Can someone please help?

Hmmm. Perhaps you're not explaining yourself well enough, or i'm just not understanding you.

If you set it to "no effect", that means there won't be any effects, and then you should hear what you originally recorded without any processing or effects.

I may have missunderstood your question but this is what I think is going on:

Your sound card adds the effects to the incoming sounds, and passes it on to the line out. It does not however add the effects to the file that get's saved on disc.

If there is an option in your recording settings for "what you hear" or similar (there should be), check that instead of "line in" or "microphone in", and the sound card will record exactly what you hear.

Thank you!
The "what you hear" option did it for me!
I really appreciate it!
