Im working with ADC voice reccordings- which were done in the 60's and so the voice quality and noise ratios are V. bad- what is the best way to deal with that? |

You got it... EQ, NR and you may also want to try some expanding or gating. Try an Aphex Aural Exiter or the BBE Sonic Maximizer. BBE makes that in a $99 plug-in, try the free demo. I didn't like the plug-in but have the outboard 862 and love it for certain applications like what I think your tring to do. If you going to digitize, use a pro sound card. What's ADC? Or do you mean ADR. |
