Could somebody inform me on how to record to CD eliminating the gaps in between tracks? I recorded a full set, created regions for the individual tracks, but I need the audio to play continuously without any gaps. I also changed all the pre-roll playback options to 0 sec. Thanks. |

You have to use DAO (Disk At Once) burning mode, which Sound Forge doesn't offer. You'll have to use Vegas 3 or some package like Easy CD Creator or Nero. Hopefully Sound Forge 6.0 will have this feature. |

The SF 6 Beta doesn't have it, but I agree that hopefully, the final version will. Wishful thinking????? Dave |

Maybe they think they can get everybody to buy Vegas. Again, who is making these decisions at SF? It would be so smart if they would just bring back CDA! |

Personally, I'm thinking of dumping SF in favor of a system that supports DAO burning. I've about had it with SF at this point. The clunky SF-5 was a disapoitment, SF-4.5 (w)CDA was great. I'm skepticle about SF-6. |

Hey guys, SF6.0 is worth it, and I recommend it along with the NR plug-in, although it costs too damn much! SF4.5 may have had CDA but it didn't process 32-bit floating point files which makes a big difference in processing and the way your files sound. I wish I knew where to get a copy of CDA! |
