Hi there,
I'm sorry this question has been asked before, but I've started using Soundforge 5.0e and my version appears to be different.

I took this from a previous post:
"Place a marker where you want each track to begin (position the cursor, press the M key). Also add markers at the beginning and end of the file. Under Special, select Regions List, Markers to Regions. Then under Tools select Extract Regions. This will let you save each track as a separate .WAV file."

Everything is fine until I get to TOOLS select EXTRACT REGIONS.
Where is it in my version???

any help greatly appreciated.
thanks.

My Tools menu lists "Extract Regions" as the 5th item, between "Auto Region" and "Find".

Apologies,

I'm using Xp Studio version, It doesn't have this feature in Tools it seems. Is it possible to split the wav sheet using this version?

thanks.

Double-click in the first region of the file to select it, Ctrl-C to copy it, Ctrl-E to paste into a new window. Save this new window into a new file and close it. Repeat for each region.
