Besides having a free-floating, non-modal plugin chainer now, Sound Forge also allows you to share the plugin chain with any open file. But what I discovered is that if you have 3 open files (or however many) with different chains for each, you can take any one of those chains, share the plugin chainer (options--> share chainer), try it on all open files and then go back to the file with the chain you shared, unshare it and all the other chains will be remembered. Very handy for mastering, if you want to try out different settings for different songs and then want to compare all the songs with one setting. Make sense? It's a little confusing to describe. Just play around with the chainer some and you'll see. You can also make the Share Chainer feature a toolbar button. |
