This is a known issue which we are working on. A workaround is to do a silent installation, which will skip the IE4 detection. Go to the location where you extracted the setup files (by default: "C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry Setup\Sound Forge 6.0 Beta") and run: forgesetup.exe /q Sorry for the trouble, Dan Naab Sonic Foundry |

I have not done a quiet install. Do I rename the forgeSetup file by adding the /q ? Does this mean that I can't specify which folder the installation goes in? Thanks. |

I believe you have to go to the command prompt or Dos Mode to put the /q on. |
