Subject:SF 4.5 XP Is it possible to disable all file formats except RM and WAV.

We are using SoundForge XP 4.5 at the church sound bench to record and encode the Sunday sermons into Real Audio for posting on the church website.

Since volunteers do a lot of the work of running the sound bench.

Is it possible to make RealMedia the default file saving format, or to disable all other formats except RealMeadia and WAV ?

I could be wrong, but when you save a file using the "Save As" dialog, it will use whatever file format was used last for saving.

I had thought it did that also, only it defaults (at least in this version to WAV).

Have wondered, if by turning off the various codec's in "Control Panel, Multimedia, Devices, Audio Compression Codec's", if this might disable/remove the choices to save in formats other than RealMedia (.RM) or WAV.

Anybody know ???
