Yes on the loops which are playing, go to the top right corner and click and hold down. Then drag across to the other top left side of the loop and you should see a line that signifies the fading gain for the loop. After placing this fade line, you can click on it and move it up or down to alter the overall gain. Try playing around with this, you can come up with different shapes for the fading. |

Alternately, you can render the song to two track and then use Sound Forge to fade out the end, with Sound Forge you have the option of a graphic fade so you have control of how you want the song to fade out. |

Adding to what vanblah said, if you have ACID Pro, Sound Forge XP Studio comes with it. It's not as powerful as its cousin, but does have basic fade in/out features. (You'll have to spring for the full version if you want more control over the fade though.) Iacobus |

How about just putting a volume envelope on each track and fading out that way? |

do like vanblah suggested. render the song to a wav, open in your favorite editor, and fade it out. much easier than messing with each indiviual track. |

Yes ramone, that's true but you can do some very interesting fades and have lots of control using the volume envelopes. musicdog |

Many interesting methodologies have been suggested. I tried playing around with the volume envelopes last night, and true enough one is able to have more control over the fading of a song. I think I will stick to this method, thanks for all the support! BY THE WAY WHO IS MAKING MONEY OF THERE MATERIAL? AND IF SO WHAT ADVICE CAN SOMEONE OFFER? |
