Subject:ACID Pro 3.0 and ProTools transfer?

I'm am lucky enough to have just been hired to create from scratch a few songs for a major recording group here in my home studio. I'm using ACID Pro 3.0 to build the songs. Additional tracks, all vocals and the mixing etc. will be done at Westlake Audio in California. They have Pro Tools. Will I be able to hand them a CD with my ACID project files so they can transfer to their system? I've emailed them today and still waiting to here from them. What do you think?

If you export out the audio tracks you shouldn't have a problem. I do this with Nuendo. The tracks are the the length of the song so it it earier to import them into another program and line them up to for further processing in Nuendo. I don't see why you can't do this in ProTools. You should be O.K.

Good Luck,
Kai Wen

Use File>Render As on the menu bar, save as WAV and check the "Save each track as a separate file" option.

This will save each track as it is in your project, including all events as they were placed, FX, etc.
