Subject:Batch Converter 5.0 installation crash

When running the Batch Converter 5.0b setup, I get a Dr. Watson application error mentioning sfBatchSetup.ex.exe
Has anyone else come across this and have you any idea as to the solution? Thanks.

i have had installations go bad...twice. never figured out why.
i just re-installed SF5.0, then did batch converter again...that next time it worked.
this isn't a real answer is it?
