Yeah, I've had that happen to me a time or two, after I had posted about using a certain piece of software. The nerve of some people to think we just give out our unique serial numbers to anonymous posers who have no vested interest, in the on going development and support of a software program. Stop begging and just buy the darn thing, that is what I say.

I know what I'd like to send such people ;) but then their systems are probably already so full of warez that they don't work too well anyway.

That happened to me the second day I participated in these forums.
I get an e-mail saying "I heard you were a nice guy, and you'd give me your serial number."
Well, I guess I'm not THAT nice...he got squat!
That's why my e-mail on this forum is now bogus, no more problems.

I could give you the registration serial number to my old Apple//GS. Would that help?       ;)
I never sent it in to Apple anyway. It was 14 digits long and the registration card only had 12 boxes for the number.
This from what was at the time the 5th largest computer company in the world. Go figger.
