Subject:smdi with E-mu e-6400 and firewire

hello, Im a new user just test piloting the demo right now, and i was curious if any users have had any luk using smdi to send samples to an E-Mu ultra sampler using a firewire to scsi converter. Im using a laptop, and just using the firewire port would be much more convenient than buying a scsi pcmcia card, but Im not sure if it will work. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance! - d
