Did you try selecting the DiO's S/PDIF-in specifically under "Options>Preferences" and then the "Wave" tab? Also try uninstalling and then reinstalling the DiO's drivers? Iacobus |

Yes I have done that and updated video drivers. It appears to have something to do with the buffer settings in both the M-Audio/Dio control panel and SF buffer setting in the Wave tab. Anyone have this set up and can help? thanks |

I don't know if this'll help, but I noticed some funkiness with the Delta Control Panel myself. (I have the Audiophile 2496.) Apparently, if I don't lock the rate under the "Hardware Settings" tab, I'll get problems in various programs. (For example, I can't play low bit-rate audio files in Windows Media Player or I get static/break up in DVD audio.) (Note this is in Windows XP.) My DMA buffer setting is also at 784 samples. The total buffer size setting in Sound Forge is set at the default under the Wave tab. (768 kb.) Iacobus |

Okay its embarrasing but I got it working correctly. I reapplied w2k service pack 2, and everything is working great. Thanks for the responses |
