What is the scoop on Acid 3.0's Midi capability? I have an ASR-X similar to the MPC2000, and I want to Midi it up to Acid. How is this done, what is the procedure for using Midi in Acid with external devices? |

I couldn't get my Roland XP-80 workstation to sync up with it. 4 hours working on it and nothing. |

I don't understand it myself, I even bought a book on Acid and it still is mind boggling. The only way that I am able to use the ASR-X with Acid is if I record whatever I do on the ASR into Acid and edit the recording via "Chopper." It works, but I would like to at least see how the Midi functions work. I guess external devices do not work good with Acid 3.0. Have you ever used Vegas Audio, if so how is it in comparison to Acid 3.0? |
