Subject:Create CD Function?

Question,

Whenever I attempt to create a CD in Acid 3.0 I get this crazy error message. Something like CD could write due to "Buffer Under Run" and/or "Change the speed on the CD Drive in order for it to creat."

What in the world is this and how do you get around it? It happens especially when I have a project where I have a lot of activity going on, like a lot of plug-ins etc.
Can someone please advise?

Go to Options, Preferences, CD, and change the Write speed to a lower value. It defaults to Max, which is the fastest speed of your burner. Try setting it for 4x or slower. Audio CDs burned faster than this tend to have compatibility problems with cheaper players anyway. If this still causes problems then render your project to a .WAV file and use your favorite CD burning software to create the CD from that .WAV file instead.

In addition to what Chienworks said, you can try also bouncing down your tracks by soloing the intended tracks and using CTRL+M on your keyboard. (Be sure to set the new track's volume to "0.0 dB" if you want it to match your old tracks' combined volume.)

What's probably happening is that ACID must process effects and encode in real-time and sling it all to the CD burner, which can be very taxing on a lot of older systems. If the track is already bounced down or rendered with effects added, that's one less step ACID has to do when it's burning a CD.
