I was having some problems with acid pro 3.0, and some of them seem to have gotten better after installing 3.0f, but since having installed the update I've got a new problem: on many projects, when I go to listen to a track "solo" (the exclamation point) it won't play any sound, and it freezes and usually gives me "an unexpected error has occurred"/ the weird thing is, if I delete every other track but the one I was trying to solo, and then play it, (but NOT solo), it plays sound and doesn't freeze. ?????? |

It's so hard to try to pinpoint what exactly was going wrong in the first place. However, there are some things to try: -Be sure no programs are running in the background. -Keep your video card and soundcard drivers up to date. -Try selecting your specific soundcard by clicking "Options>Preferences" on the menu bar and select the "Audio" tab. Under, "Audio device driver," choose, "Windows Classic Wave Driver." You should then be able to select your specific default audio playback device immediately underneath. -Completely uninstall and reinstall ACID Pro. -Contact Sonic Foundry and alert them to your problem.
