Subject:Better de-essing

I tried using the De-essing tool in SF but it didn't work that well. Anyone had any better luck than I. Do I need to adjust the frequency by which it works?

Try the multi-band compressor and bypass all but the one you set for the highs. Any de-esser (or compressor for that matter) needs some tweaking to suit an individual's voice and dynamics to sound real good.
