Subject:Losing tracks/ reloading in 3.0b and e

Constantly having problems with tracks getting lost after saving and reopening projects - even immediately. Audio files are not being moved by me; they are getting 'lost' and having to be reloaded, one by one.

Doesn't seem to matter if they are in separate or same directory, or even from a zipped acid project file.

All my machines are 1100mhz or higher PIII/PIV with 512mb RAM, etc.

Anyone else? Ideas?

Did you try getting the latest build (which is 3.0f)? Get the latest build here.

Thanks -- actually I do have that, I just checked.

It still happens, and has happened in all versions of 3.0 that I've used (since c).

Hmmm. So it keeps asking you where the files are? And you never move the files from their location? (Preferably somewhere permanent like your hard drive rather than off of CD.)

As soon as you locate the files and they load properly in your project, do you immediately save?
