Subject:Please HELP! Posted by: Shakeyjack Date:3/17/2002 12:24:12 PM I have just installed Sound Forge, I am trying to input music from a Minidisc (through a stereo jack directly into tthe soundcard whcih is a Soundblaster LIVE!). I hear the minidisk playing through my speakers so I know its hitting the soundcard correctly. I have selected the soundcard in the preferenced files and all that, so why is it not registering on the meters or recording within the programme....its like the programme is not hearing the music from the soundcard...any suggestions? I am at the end of my wits here...... Its a PC BTW

Click on the little yellow speaker icon to open up the mixer, Click Options, Properties, Recording, OK. You will now see the recording inputs. Select the line input there and set the volume level as necessary.
