Hello, I have an audio file which is MPEG Layer 3, 127 kbit/s, 48,000 Hz, stereo. I need to convert this to 128 kbit/s. I've looked all around Sound Forge but can't seem to find a way to do it. Can it be done? If so, how? If it can't be done in Sound Forge, can someone recommend a software program that will do it? Thank you, koala |

Try using File>Save As on the menu bar and specify MP3 as the file type and "128 Kbps, CD Quality Audio" as the template. Note that this will compress your MP3 even more. HTH, Iacobus |

Thanks for the help, but it needs to be mpeg layer 3 to be inserted back into a video clip. Will the converting to 128 cd quality still work? koala |
