Subject:NEWBIE HERE! Please Help!

I just started using Acid Pro and when I import two songs, one with a tempo of 120 BPM and the other with a tempo of 98 BPM they either both play at 120 or both play at 98. Either way one is sped up or slowed down. How do I get them both to play at their original tempo and stay independant of each other?

Yes acid can be overwhelming at first, but youll learn to love it. if your new, be prepared to take some time off from work!! anyway, if your trying to keep songs at their original tempo, click on the properties tab and make sure that the "stretch from tempo" box is not checked. as long as that box is not checked, all songs will play at original tempo! YOU MUST DO THIS FOR EACH TRACK. IN OTHER WORDS IF TRACK #1 IS BRITNEY SPEARS AT 98 BPM, CLICK ON THE PROPERTIES TAB AND UNCHECK "STRETCH FROM TEMPO" IF TRACK #2 IS CRYSTAL WATERS AT 120 BPM ( OR WHATEVER ) CLICK ON PROPERTIES TAB AND UNCHECK "STRETCH FROM TEMPO"
