Just bought Acid 3 went to instalation prompt on CD and got "This program has performed an illegal opperation". I hav just speant lots of money (which I can't really afford) on this program and I can't even install it! I have required specs on my PC so any help please?

Hmmmm. this is a very strange thing to happen.
The error message usually happens when there is a bug or virus in whatever ur trying to open (in other applications at least).
Shoouldn't happen with a store-bought, legal copy of something like Acid unless ur PC can't handle it - which u say it can.
Unless someone else posts with a solution I would definitely send an e mail to Sonic Foundry Support - they are very good and will answer same day (that's my experience anyway)

Try also installing it without anything running in the background (antivirus, system utilites, chat messengers, etc.) to see if that helps out any.
