I have used Vegas 13 Pro for audio recording - and it worked perfectly until the new Win 10 Anniversary update.
Since this update I get a "An error occured while recording" and "The file could not be opened. make sure the file exists and that you have access to the file/folder" as soon as I press the "Arm for record" button in the audio track.
After the usual Googling I have
- excluded the audio recording folder from Defender. Did not help.
- excluded Vegas from Defender. Did not help.
- started Vegas as administrator. Did not help.
- stopped Defender. Did not help.
Have anybody here had/solved this new Windows 10 issue?
PS: Win 10 does not only block Vegas from creating files - since the Win 10 Anniversary I can also not scan anymore getting some errors about file creation too..
I'm the only user on the machine - and have single-user admin. rights.
