Is there a way to Color Splash freely?

(If you have Axiem Systems Photo Editor for IOS (and possibly Android) I mean is there a way to use a similar technique as that?)

Anyway, for everyone else, I've looked up and watched tutorials on how to make just one color pop out like in "Sin City", but that's not what I need for my project. I need to make the entire scenery grayscale aside from just one brightly colored character, and occasionally certain spots on a second character and small scenery items. I have Movie Studio 12, for reference. Is there a way to do this?

If it works, here's a haphazard example of what I mean: https://www.flickr.com/photos/146145778@N08/shares/66R32w

Put your video on two tracks, apply video effects to one or both as needed then use the Cookie Cutter (with Keyframing if needed.)

Cookie-cutter is fine, but won't OP be disappointed that the shape is limited? It's a great shame that we can't draw a basic shape and the Keyframe ( booring! ), or use the PC to shift it as the object moves. I understand a refined version is in PRO, but it would be nice to introduce Users to the feature ( even if limited to ONE shape, perhaps? ).....

In the past ( ONCE! ), I made a mask using a Still-frame to add effects - Yet, the most-useful IMHO would be a progressive defocus - so the ( defined) Subject can stand-out - Like our Camcorders stopped "Sharpening" . . . . but it would have to move and reshape . . . . yet in the non-PRO version this could be limited to 2 seconds - Enough for "Cutaways".

Perhaps you know of a way to combine the Cookie-Cutter shapes to include objects that are irregular. . . . that would be very neat.

This same technique would apply to pixilating children's faces, car numbers, advertisements and-so-on, that litter our footage and need to be obscured.

However, I recall that some techniques such as "Blur" can be applied with the cookie-cutter ONLY . . . .The Second Video track as suggested . . . was because OP needed a technique that was beyond the normal Cookie-Cutter options.

MSmart.-

In fact, I do, create a Mask using your favorite photo editor. Many threads on how to do that can be found using Search.
