I read in the forum that there's a printed Sound Forge 10 Manual but I followed the link, called the company, and they said they don't have printed materials or books. I'm new to Sound Forge and definitely out of my comfort zone, so I need all the help I can get. This software is overwhelming! If there's no manual to explain what everything does, is there another way to learn this software? The little tutorials with the software aren't enough when you're starting from scratch. Thanks for your help!

Hello,

I think if you look under the Downloads section then Updates, Go to SoundForge and you should be able to download the .PDF manual for Sound Forge 10.

SCS hasn't offered 'printed', hard copy manuals for quite a while, The only printed manual I still have was an 80+ page quick-start manual for SF-8.. SCS did have a third-party vendor listed who would sell hard copies, but I don't see that any longer. I guess it's just easier to give the PDF to Staples or other office store and have them print it (or DIY).

Personally i far prefer reading the PDF on screen over a printed version. Searching is so much easier and more effective that way.

Of course, having dual monitors makes it a lot easier, but you can still do it well enough with one screen.
