There was a statement by Magix that the forums will be switched over sometime in August. It is their intent to preserve the information already accumulated in the Sony Creative forums. How it will be formatted was not stated. I'm sure they're "working on it." The results remain to be seen, but at least they seem to be trying.

that'll be sad, usually imported/new forums stink badly

I hope they can keep this one alive: I've valued many of you here for years, a nice rare intelligent corner of cyberspace

It took ages to get the Vegas background color to go darker, so who knows?

It took a while, but thanks to this video I got your joke Peter:

On topic: I do hope MAGIX™ will use the latest forum database to do the transfer.
Otherwise all the recent posts will be lost.

A bad community board design tends to evaporate into the netherlands.... Witness what ushere stated about current Magix area of the web. Another great example of this for the video community is what happened to the VideoMaker Magazine board. And there are countless other examples across the software industry.

That is what makes this current SCS board even more special with it longevity and straight ahead design!!
