Upgrade to Vegas from MS - things I should know?

I've used Movie Studio since version 9. Recently I've tried Premiere Elements (which is ok, but I like the Studio/Vegas workflow better) and Resolve /Fusion appears to be a nice product now but I don't want to relearn everything I know.

What are the 3 things I should use/know about Vegas compared to MS?

I now shoot mostly in 4K on two Panasonic Gx8's. Mostly stock wildlife stuff.

I tend to use PluralEyes, Tascam D60 to match sound and video. Other stuff in my work flow is Mercalli Pro v4 and either Acid PRO 7 or Traction.

The first thing is that you must be running a 64-bit version of Windows. I would recommend a clean install of Windows 10x64 but Windows 8x64 and Windows 7x64 all seem to be OK. The other applications you mention will all work fine as 32-bit applications running on 64-bit Windows.
