I think I'll stay here until they close this down.
Thanks for the link anyway, Grazie.

I agree.

But we do/can now have an interim alternative till such time MAGIX/exSCSers have the opportunity to migrate us to the MAGIX, should there be an, er, "slip-up" or any time sensitive response isn't forthcoming.

Nice... I posted this problem on their FB 2 or 3 days ago.
Probably they have fixed it.

Currently we have no topic to talk there, but we'll see about it later time...

BTW, John C.B. has replied your post: http://www.magix.info/us/magix-purchases-sony-creative-software-products-including-vegas-pro.forum.1169102.html
And they shared their view on Xara application after being purchased. And mentioning about the forum as well...

Sounds not really bad after all... Xara's forum still kept on Xara's, and so does to Samplitude / Sequoia's.

bit of a tacky forum gui. sort of very yesterday / childish.

And yet, Leslie, we now have an outpost available to us all. And you're welcome.

don't get me wrong - i'm very grateful for a continuation of this, or any other forum, that will increase the readers knowledge, and also allow one to share hard earned experiences (albeit with a degree of levity)...

but i'd much prefer a nice, clean, well organised place to do so.

Just signed up for the Magix forum, just in case.
Looking forward to seeing everyone else from here on there sooner or later :)

I thought they'd migrate everything from here to their site including all our account details. If that's the intention then creating an account with our current usernames on the MAGIX's forum is likely to cause problems.

Does not bode well. I am trying to join their forum. When I try to "Become a Member" it tells me my email has already been used. When I try to recover my password, it does not send me an email.

RichardU, try ask the problem on their FB page, if you have FB account:
https://www.facebook.com/MAGIX/?fref=ts

As for the forum migration issue, so far we haven't know anything, but as one Magix's user explained here, it's possible that we may have one separate forum (again, I'll never know for sure, but at least we have also visited Magix.info forum and we have our opinion on it) :
As for the Forum, I'm guessing, but Magix will probably open a separate one for Vegas like they have for Samplitude/Sequoia and Xara. BTW, Xara personnel often intervene, answer certain questions, especially about features that exist in the program but that no one seems to have found, or simply say thanks for letting us know about this bug. Don't see that on the other Magix forums.

I sent them an email, and got a response. Unfortunately it is worse than nothing. After explaining that I do not have my password, and their system will not allow me to recover it, I was told to: "Please use that existing login details to register on magix.info."
