Hey guys,

How do you set the bit depth and sampling rate for recording. It used to be in a dropdown menu but now it defalts to 16/44.1 all the time.

Sorry, I prefer to use SF9 or 10 which is faster and much more intuitive than the (according to SCS "Improved recording workflow". Improved for who??? Sorry SCS, I call it a 'forked up recording workflow'. I questioned this too whilst beta testing SF11. Don't get me started on the also improved plug-in chainer. </end rant>
.. that said,.. in SF11 "View> Record Options[/b"]. For more info, see Page 143 in the manual.

SF11 operates a little different to SF10

From the |File Menu list select |New
You will get a dialog box asking for Sample Rate / Bit Depth / Channels choice before a new file is created....
Then you just Arm & Record to the new file.

If you also select from |View Menu - Record Options, you can see input meters, select Input Monitoring, and set some other useful parameters.
