Someone handed me a gag reel to add to the end of a 2 hour 1920 x 1080i project (My normal Sony EX1 mxf project destined to be rendered to m2v for DVDA Blu-ray)
I have done previous projects using only mts files from a Canon camcorder and the m2v render for Blu-ray worked fine, but have never combined the footage with Sony mxf and tried to render. Should have tested it first because I found out the hard way after a fifteen hour render that it didn't work, crashing in the last ten minutes.
Right now I am rendering the 14 minute AVCHD gag reel to a whopping intermediate avi file.
Then I will test render a loop region of just the gag reel to m2v
But there has to be a better way. Any ideas? The quality doesn't even have to be THAT good.
