Hi, I am running Sound Forge Audio 10 and I was wondering if it is normal for the program to designate a Creative Audigy SE audio card as a Microsoft sound Mapper? Thanks, papajoe |

Yes. Microsoft Sound Mapper is a generic Operating System device that lets software access audio hardware without having to know what hardware it's talking to. Windows will handle the driver and offer all the options to the user in it's mixer control panel. |

Wow, that's an old card. If the dedicated ASIO drivers are not showing up in the Vegas Preferences, you should upgrade. Message last edited on5/15/2016 10:22:45 PM bymusicvid10. |
