how to select/copy a region? (not just the notes) -ACID Product Family

(not just the notes) Posted by: garybeck Date:5/7/2016 12:09:02 AM hello, when I'm working in midi, if I select a bunch of notes to copy and paste, can I select a section of time (basically some measures) instead of a group of notes? when I can only select notes. if the first note starts at a random place, when paste it somewhere else, I can't sync it to the same place within a measure as the source. I have no way to place the cursor in the exact same spot within a measure as where it started from the original source. This would be easier if i could select and copy an entire measure, regardless of when the first note starts in it. then I can paste it right on a snappable line and the notes will end up in the exact same place within the measure. does this make any sense? is there a way to do this? thanks!!!
