OK, I have one track with bass, guitar and drums and one with vocals (seperate .acd files). Now how do I combine them? Is there a shortcut or an easy way or something? They all match up- no fiddling is required.
Thanks

Actually, it sounds like you want to combine different projects (.acd).
If you want to make a mix of the tracks in these projects the best thing is probably to start a new project and import the individual waves (tracks) from the other projects. You need to align and set the levels and fades etc per track.
Normally you should think of a project (xyz.acd) as a song containing all tracks needed for this composition.
Hope this helps

You can also open Acid twice and copy from one Acid window to the other.

I've done a "render to new track" saved as a wav. from one project and then opened my other project and drawn the saved wav. into a new track. Works for me.
