Are your PNGs aligned exactly to the frames on the timeline? How are you importing them into your project? If the PNGs cross frame boundaries then Vegas will blend adjacent images together to create the output frames.

Check this out, there are some compression artificacts because I am using a low bitrate MP4 and youtube likes to chew on it a bit and there is a lot of detail in your video.

If the blurring looks less, I will give the details on the edit and render.

Here are all of the frames at your original resolution, which is an odd resolution. What is your intended final product?

YouTube does not like this resolution, let me make it a standard size.

720p

I rendered your files to a 720 x 480 widescreen uncompressed video. There is so much detail in your graphics that it looks compressed. If a DVD is your final destination, you should try rendering your PNGS to 720 x 480 so that other programs do not have to stretch or compress your images.

thanks. :)

my goal is a blockbuster dvd, lol. planning to use amazon's createspace to publish it.

wanted to make it look like a panavision movie inspired by the look of the Ironman movie.
2:39 ratio with letter box bars to make it 16:9.

i'm testing out the workflow pipeline, from my 3d software render settings(carrara), to acid/soundforge, to vegas, to dvd architect.

here more moves at 2:39 https://shotonwhat.com/distributed-aspect-ratio/2-391/page/34

your tries look better than my last try at 60fps >.<

An NTSC DVD is 720 x 480. Even if it is a wider aspect video (letterboxed) the video including the letterbox is 720 x 480. It would help to retain quality by creating your PNGs at 720 x 480 with the letterbox as part of it.

I will try 60FPS and see what it looks like.

Okay, now I get the motion blur. An NTSC DVD is 29.97fps, If I make a 60fps timeline and render to 29.97, it gets blurred.

You have to stay in NTSC standard (or PAL if that is your source and goal) to retain the quality.

? rendered 60fps at 60fps, didnt render 60fps at 29.97

new theory to test, possible vegas is trying to add depth of field?

noticed when the lil dock moves behind the tree, pixelating happens in the area.

but, i dont see how to customize dof settings.

Vegas is an editor, not an animator so it will not do anything to DOF. The pixellating is happening because of the detail in your image being compressed.
