Subject:NO LATENCY NOW BUT JERKS CONTINUES !!

Hi to all forum mates,

Since I have installed ASIO4ALL drivers my latency problem has been solved but while recording my vocals on Acid Pro 7 DAW jerks of single seconds or even lesser causes me uncomfortable with my vocal recordings but on the other hand the latency of 512 sample rates records perfectly.

I have also noticed one thing the icon of asio4all on the taskbar blinks with green and red and when the green blinks there are no jerks.

Please help me by giving an appropriate answer.

Love to all forum mates!

Hani

Recommended answer - purchase a pro level audio interface that does not rely on ASIO4ALL.

Or

Consider a move to a better DAW?

Since it sounds like you are serious about your work - is the now ancient (6 year old) ACID Pro 7 really your best choice in 2016?

Thank you for your reply.

In my view Acid Pro 7 is the most easiest DAW and having almost all of the features that a latest DAW have

I personally think Acid Pro 7 being the easiest and comprehensive that an infant can learn and understand in few short hours.

I will use the same DAW till my last breath.

many thanks.

Your call I guess.

Unfortunately - in terms of "currency" - AP7 was last current - feature wise - in 2009. And it's now been retired for several years.

But if that represents "the latest" for you - rock on.

Good luck solving your audio issues. Might have more luck logging a ticket with SMS and have the techs help you.

VP

What audio device are you using? I agree you need to buy one that supports ASIO natively and not rely on ASIO4ALL.
