Make a selection of what you want. Open the selection in the trimmer. Make a sub-clip. Apply the stablizer to that.

I wasn't aware I could do that. I was only aware that SONY Stabilize needed to be applied at Media level. I also wasn't aware that the Subclip became an item that changed the Event to be this type of thing.

I do it all the time. You still use Media FX but just for that sub-clip ??? Seems to work. Seems to save time. But the sub-clips are only good inside that project.
