i do alot of work on songs and adverts for radio. i use both pc and mac..i find that macintosh versions of audio apps tend to work better and faster(well macs are better alround) . for me the best editor ive used is sound forge.. i do alot of work from home on my g4macintosh... will there be a sound forge on mac SOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNN??????????? |

If macs work better all around, surely they have an app that works better than Sound Forge for around the same price...right? I mean there is just such an overabundance of good software for macs, right? Isn't a single track editor for macintosh like Sound Designer nearly around the same price as the far superior Sound Forge? Yeah, didnt think so. |

Poking around in a few catalogs and comparing prices, it looks to me like you can usually purchase a Sonic Foundry product AND a windows/intel based PC for a combined price of less than most equivalent Mac programs. You also get a much larger user base to help support the software. I used to be a Mac die-hard in the olden days, but that was when Windows was limited and annoying. Now Windows is sleek, polished, cheaper, and at least as capable as the MacOS. Sorry Apple. I love your stuff, but i can't afford it, nor do i need it anymore. |
