Vegas tutorial for creating "trailer" from video

TeetimeNC wrote on 3/7/2016, 8:01 AM
Earlier in this thread I posted a workflow for creating a highlight video or "trailer" from a long form video. Following that discussion I was able to figure out a better way using Vegasaur. I had also read in these forums about OBS for screen video recording. Wanting to try my hand at creating a tutorial, I decided to put together this one. I hope it will be of use to folks here. As this is my first ever video tutorial I would appreciate any feedback, positive or negative.

Thank you Jerry. This very closely resembles a project I'll be starting tomorrow, and the technique you outlined will come in very useful.

I can also see that I need to explore Vegasaur much more.

I also like the bumper at the end of the video....the one with the guy "tagging" your ID. Any videos on how you did that?

I enjoyed the tutorial. It looks as if you have found another creative and useful outlet.

I enjoyed your site overall, too.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I had fun making the tutorial and hope to do a few more in the coming months.

@Len, Vegasaur continues to amaze me with the hidden and not so hidden gems in that product. The spot at the end was done by a fiverr artist. It cost me $15.75! But I may know how he did it because a friend once did something similar. Basically, take some video of a guy spray painting a wall with green paint and then chromakey in your business card (or image of any kind).
