I keep getting a playback error message, please somebody help me. It states" An error occurred while starting playback. The system is low on memory. You may be able to reduce memory usage by closing other applications" I have 320 Mb of mem at 83% free. I also am running no other open applications. Can anyone please help me!!!

Make sure you're using the latest version of ACID 2.0 (2.0d). If you're running a 9x OS (95/98/Me), then close all background applications by simultaneously pressing Control+Alt+Delete keys. This will bring up a Close Programs window. You should "end task" on all running apps, except for Explorer and Systray.
