So I've got a midi track that I recorded using my naitive instruments Komplete Kontrol keyboard and softsynth. Now I'd like to play it back and record it to another track as I play with various settings from the soft synth. Is that possible?

I have Acid Music Studio 9 and this is how I accomplish what you have requested..

- Click "Options->Preferences->Audio Devices".
- Select "WIndows Classic Wave Driver" as the audio device.
- Insert an audio track.
- On the track's header on the left side of the screen, select "Stereo Mix" as your recording device from the pull down list for your record channel.
- Arm the track.
-Click the "Record" button on the transport controls.

The sound from all the other tracks(excluding muted tracks) should record on the new track that you inserted. If you don't see "Stereo Mix" as one of the options in the pull down list of input devices, you may need to go into Windows and enable "Stereo Mix".
