Subject:Downsampling changes length of audio

Anyone else experience this one? I'm downsampling a file from 44.1 KHz to 22.05 KHz in the latest version of Sound Forge for Mac using the Izotope 64 Bit SRC. When I hit the process button, my .wav file is getting 20 ms shorter, making my perfect music loop less perfect. This never happened in Sound Forge 10 on PC. Anyone found a way around this or any plans of fixing? |

I got a reply from support. No solutions as of yet. One workaround is it looks like in Sound Forge you can use the Sample Rate/Bit Depth converter (the non-Izotope branded one) and that will work. However, in Convrt, this also causes length issues. I've experienced the same with Elastique Timestretch as well. |
