My latency problem still unsolved.I am using alesis audio interface IO-2 express and my DAW is Pro Acid 7.

Please see my setting in my DAW Audio Device and I personally think the problem is somewhere here in my setting adjustments.

Audio device type: WINDOWS CLASSIC WAVE DRIVER

default stereo & front playback device: iol2
default rear playback device: iol2
default center and LFE playback device : iol2
playback buffering (seconds) 0..10
(checked) enable track buffering - track buffering (seconds) 0.25
default audio recording device: iol2 and offset
(checked)automatically detect for hardware recording latency
advance settings : buffer size (samples) 512
priority: above normal

Is something wrong in the above parameters of settings???

Hope this time my problem will definitely be solved.

I think the problems lies right here...

Audio device type: WINDOWS CLASSIC WAVE DRIVER

If you are trying to use ANY built in Windows driver - expect about a half second delay on everything you try to do. ASIO is where you need to be for low latency audio work

The Alesis site offers the ASIO4ALL (v2.10) download - start there.
