Decklink 4K extreme and Vegas

As far as I have seen, the Decklink 4K Extreme
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-04

seems to work not with UHD resolution with Vegas? But I am not sure about that.

So, does anybody know
- if the Decklink 4K extreme will show an UHD preview with Vegas?
- if the Decklink 4K extreme will utilize an 8bit or 10bit preview with Vegas?

Thank you, but that was not the question. The question was if anybody here can confirm that this card works with Vegas Pro 13 for UHD. I do not trust any statement by BM since they will always blame SCS if it does not work. We know that the BM intensity 4K does not work with Vegas in UHD, and since SCS has not updated the interface it is a questionmark if this card will work beyond HD resolution (and my sad assumption is that it will not work). So if anybody could confirm from a very practical experiance that it works for UHD and 10bit I would be happy to read so.

I have the same question. Will Vegas output 4K over any Blackmagic device?

I want to add a Blackmagic device for 4K monitoring from Resolve. The Intensity Pro 4K would seem a good option for me. But I'd also like to monitor 4K from Vegas on the same display.

I suppose one somewhat clumsy workaround would be to have that display connected to both the Blackmagic device and my GPU by different cables, and to switch between them depending on what program I'm in. i.e. Blackmagic external monitoring when running Resolve, and Windows extended desktop when running everything else (p.s. Leslie [ushere], am I right in thinking you do this? If so, could you please give more details?)

I found this. Sounds like 4K is not possible, which is a shame.

In the meantime, I have installed the Decklink 4K extreme in my new system. I can confirm that the output is in HD only (similar to the cheaper Intensity 4K). But what seems to work is both the output in s3D as side-by-side half or top-bottom half. And what seems to work is the 10bit preview from a 32bit floating point project.

I have the same Blackmagic card. That's a shame...

As for DVD-Architect, Sony doesn't update anything anymore.
