Subject:SF11 Pro - Snap to Zero doesn't work well

I'm editing an audio book and need to insert material into an audio file. Snap to zero is essential for this to work correctly. I'm finding that SF11 Pro does not snap to a zero crossing very well, and this is costing me a lot of time in my project. I still have SF7 Pro installed, and this function works better in the older version! Anyone else notice this? Is there something I can do to improve 11's performance? |

I recall other bizarre pasting behavior w/ SF11 as well. Make sure the other snapping attributes are disabled. "Options> Snapping> Grid" for instance. |

Good to know I'm not imagining it. I thought I found a solution, but I was wrong. In the options menu, there's a command called "Lock to Selection." It has a submenu with three choices under "Enable." I tried all three options and all of them let me select an area that is not bounded on a zero crossing. I actually pulled up SF7 Pro yesterday to do some editing because it snaps better. Ridiculous. Message last edited on1/28/2016 10:45:42 AM byshauntoole. |
