When installing Batch Converter 5.0b (for users of Sound Forge 5), it tells me "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity, and try again. There are two locations in the "Updates" section of Sonic Foundry's website in which to download this version of BC5 for users of SF5. The first is under the link to download Sound Forge, the second under Batch Converter. Both copies give this error message. This error was present before when version 5.0a was around. I do have a copy of Batch Converter 5.0b that will install (downloaded from a previous installation of Windows), but the program will not simply open like before. Instead, it gives me the option to enter a serial number or activate the demo version. What's the deal? |

I had this problem before. Try downloading (or moving) the EXE into another folder or location and try installing it from there. Iacobus |
