Delay Entering Project

Every time I leave Vegas and come back there is a 3 second delay. Understand this only happens once a project gets larger. Once I'm in everything is great. Is there a way to stop that delay?

By default, Vegas unloads your media from memory when not the application of focus.
You can change this in Preferences.

This is good but I cannot find it in my settings. Do you know the exact wording in the setting itself?

I don't have it in front of me, but it's like, "Close media when not the active application."

But... the tradeoff is that Vegas won't let go of your media files when you switch over to Photoshop (and maybe SoundForge) to edit a bit of media that's sitting on your timeline.

Is there a way around this for when I open up Izotope within Vegas a pop up comes up and forces me to check the setting back?

Vegas has to release the file in order for Izotope to access it.
