I'm using Sound Forge Pro 11. When edited a speech file, sometimes I have to add another voice of the same person in between her sentence. but the sound hear different. My question is what do I need to do to make it at the same voice, sme level of one person Thank you very much. My Trinh |

Level matching and equalisation would be the best place to start. Maybe different distances from microphone causing bass boost for the closer .... geoff |

A couple of questions: Is the section you are dropping in from another take, or is this all the same take and you are just rearranging what he is saying? In either case, the way that he says the drop in section is likely spoken at a different inflection, intensity, tempo of his speaking, distance from the mic, etc. If the section is from a different take or even from a different part of his speech, it likely is going to sound different. |

Can you say if this is meant to be two people - or you are attempting to make word-corrections, or similar. I guess attempting to "Match" if they aren't the same clip, will be difficult. If they are different sessions or in different locations outdoors . . . nearly impossible. Couldn't she re-record it and send you the file? It's much the same with Video - exposure, colour balance etc...all attempt to make us do "Another Take" - Message last edited on2/14/2016 8:58:56 AM byUKharrie. |
