Using SF 10 on WIn 7. I'd like to apply a realtime (during play) volume control to one channel or the other. All I find is Process | Volume to alter a region. Is there not an individual channel volume control (as in Vegas, or in Audicity) allowing volume adjustment while simply using the transport, as opposed to a canned process application? Is this 'expected' volume adjust capability simply not showing based on an option parameter? Thanks in advance. |

Click on the channel number at the left side of the window to select that channel. Any effects will now be applied to only that channel. Click it again to deselect it. As far as real-time while playing, Sound Forge can only do this with the effects chain so you're limited to those effects. However, those effects apply to whatever channels are active, so as soon as you deselect the channel you were working on they'll apply to everything. If you want the kind of track control that Vegas offers perhaps you should edit in Vegas? |
