Has anyone noticed that Extract Regions does not work properly for regions >= ~500 MB? I have found that when you try to extract a region that is roughly this size or larger, Sound Forge 4.5g only saves 50 MB or so of it. Is this a known bug, and is there a fix for it? |

i just noticed your posting. try this: somewhere in the setup ( trying to do this from memory ) in the preferences tab on the task bar ( on top ) there is a section for your temporary folder specifications. i believe, although i could be wrong, the default setting for that folder is ~50MB change it to a higher value if you need to. remember, whenever you make any sort of change to an audio clip, it puts the edited part in a temporary folder. if that temporary folder isnt big enough, it will only save as much as the folder allows. i had a similar problem at the begining and this solved my problem. good luck, hope this helps. feel free to email me if you have any other questions: djmarcarot123@aol.com -marc |
